Halloween on Sweet Street

Halloween 2023 Update: Version 1.2 is now live! New features include the Extras menu, with challenges known as "Sweet Feats" and unlockable costumes.

Description:

In Halloween on Sweet Street, you play as Meggy (age 9) trick-or-treating by herself for the first time. Explore the neighborhood on Halloween night, but watch out for candy-stealing big kids. Use Candy Weapons to fend them off so you can get as many sweets as possible! Beware of Randy, though; that guy will stop at nothing to rob a little girl of her precious candy.

(This game was originally made in 13 days for Trick or Treat Jam 2021.)

Features:

• 3 Candy Weapons: Pelt enemies with candy corn, whip them with black licorice, and defend yourself with sugar-free gum

• 4 Enemy Types: Ghost Kid, Mummy Girl, Pumpkin Guy, and Werewolf Boy are on the prowl and looking for sweets

• Watch Out For Randy!: As you play, a unique enemy named Randy will periodically appear and chase you down. If he catches you, you can kiss your candy goodbye.

• 3 Modes of Play: Go for a high score in Normal Mode, speedrun through Time Attack, or try to survive as long as possible in a special "Randy Mode"

• Unlockable Costumes: Collect cosmetic costumes by completing challenges known as "Sweet Feats", some of which are seriously tough. There are 10 costumes to collect!

Controls (Keyboard + Mouse only):

• WASD - Move
• Space Bar - Dash
• Mouse - Aim Candy Weapon
• Left Click - Use Candy Weapon
• Right Click - Interact With Doors
• Q/E or Mouse Wheel - Change Candy Weapon
• Esc or P - Pause Game
• Left/Right - Adjust Volume
